Dear Friend,
I’ve seen a T-shirt that says, “If I knew having grandkids was this much fun, I’d have had them first!” We all laugh at that, of course. Grandparents are known to talk about their grandchildren a lot—maybe even boast a little.
The Word of God tell us that we are to boast in God!
In God we boast all day long,
And praise Your name forever.
Psalm 44:8 (NKJV)
Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man?
The goodness of God endures continually.
Psalm 52:1b (NKJV)
As children of God, we have a lot to boast about! Our Father loves to be with us and He has given us all we need: goodness, love, protection, provision, instruction, discipline, rewards, empowerment, and peace.
If you don’t like where your life is going right now, change your thoughts and change your words. Ask yourself, How has God been good to me? Boast in God! Read God’s Word and Speak God’s Word.
In God we boast all day long!
