Dear friend,

 

God always blesses obedience. Long ago, in the time of Moses, God promised the nation of Israel that, if the people obeyed Him, He would set Israel high above all nations.

 

“Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, that the Lord your God will put you high above all the nations of the earth.”

Deuteronomy 28:1 (NASB)

 

God promised Israel dominion—but only if the people diligently obeyed God’s commands.  And that’s not all!

 

And all these blessings will come to you and reach you if you obey the Lord your God:

3 “Blessed will you be in the city, and blessed will you be in the country.

4 “Blessed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, and the offspring of your animals: the newborn of your herd and the young of your flock.

5 “Blessed will be your basket and your kneading bowl.

6 “Blessed will you be when you come in, and blessed will you be when you go out.

Deuteronomy 28:2-6 (NASB)

 

Part of living in dominion is living in God’s blessings. God wants to bless all that belongs to you. That means a blessing on your home, children, town, nation, food, and travels!

 

I want to encourage you this week to obey God and walk in His dominion!

When our thoughts stray from biblical truth, we are encouraged by 2 Corinthians 10:5 to take every thought captive, casting down arguments that contradict God’s knowledge.
