Dear friend,

Do you believe that God truly loves you? If you believe God loves you, then you can trust God to lead you, keep you, and care for you.  I tell people don’t get too familiar to doing without. If you seek God, you will not lack beneficial things.

The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.

Psalm 34:10 (AMPC)

Think about the person that you love most in all the world.  Perhaps that person is your spouse, a child, or a friend. How often do you think about that person?  Once a week? Once a day? How often does God think about you? God loves you.  He thinks about you all the time!

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!  How great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You
.

Psalm 139:17,18 (NKJV)

Talk to God.  He loves you. He has given you His Word so you can know how much He loves you and how often He thinks about you. Give God your faith and speak His Word in prayer. Give Him all that concerns you and never doubt that God cares for you!

Glory to God!

Pastor Jo teaches that God is active and alert, watching over His Word to ensure it is performed. Just as Romans 10:10-11 emphasizes that belief in the heart and confession with the mouth lead to salvation without shame, our speech serves as a spiritual "pass key." This key, backed by the Holy Spirit, has the power to open any closed door in our lives. According to Isaiah 55:11, God’s Word never returns void; it always accomplishes His purpose and prospers wherever it is sent. When we speak Scripture with faith, we are using God’s own authority to move forward, knowing He loves to hear His children declare His truths. By aligning our mouths with His promises, we unlock a future where His Word never fails.

Pastor Jo highlights that while we are often "programmed" by the world, we have the power to reprogram our minds through God’s help. Romans 12:2 teaches that transformation begins by changing the way we think, allowing us to discern God’s perfect will. Because God knows us intimately—even our unspoken thoughts as described in Psalm 139—He is our greatest partner in mental renewal. When our thoughts stray from biblical truth, we are encouraged by 2 Corinthians 10:5 to take every thought captive, casting down arguments that contradict God’s knowledge. By commanding our thoughts to submit to the obedience of Christ and agree with His Word, we find a foundation that never fails. Ultimately, aligning our minds with Scripture is the key to walking in the victory and peace God intended for us.

Pastor Jo teaches that God pays close attention to our speech, as both the heart and the mouth are essential for transformation. Just as Romans 10:9-10 explains that salvation requires both believing in the heart and declaring with the mouth, this same principle applies to opening doors for our future. Reflecting on her own journey as a widow, Pastor Jo describes the necessity of writing down scriptures and persistently declaring God's promises even when tempted by doubt. By remaining as persistent as the "energizer bunny" and declaring that God's Word will come to pass, we can line up our future with His power. This year, don't stop speaking the truth; there is supernatural power in the Word of God to bring victory to your life.

As we enter 2026, Pastor Jo reminds us that our words act as the architect of our future, setting the boundaries for what we will experience. To walk in victory, we must refuse to project past mistakes into our future and instead align our speech with God’s promises. By meditating on the Word and following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we access the strength and courage commanded in Joshua 1:8-9. Because the power of life and death resides in the tongue, we should never speak doubt, but rather trust in the "future and a hope" promised in Jeremiah 29:11. God has a successful plan for your year; believe His Word and speak only of the victory He has already placed within you.

In this teaching, Pastor Jo illustrates that God requires words of faith because our speech directly impacts the fulfillment of His promises. While Mary’s heart of belief allowed her to welcome the Messiah with the confession, “Let it be done to me,” Zacharias’s doubt initially led to him being silenced by the angel Gabriel to prevent his negative words from interfering with God’s plan. It was only when Zacharias aligned his speech with God’s instructions by writing, “His name is John,” that his tongue was loosed in praise. Ultimately, because words flow from the heart and hold immense weight, we are encouraged this Christmas to believe God’s promises and speak only what aligns with His word.
