Saints, when you believe his strength is made perfect in your weakness, suddenly the things that used to hold you back will lose their power over you. Speak the Word. It's time to Speak the Word with author, Bible teacher and evangelist Pastor Joanne Ramsey. Speak the Word Ministries is called to teach God's word and encourage the body of believers. Speak the wor. Speak the word. God's word. Speak. Speak. Speak God's Word. We invite you to visit us online at speakthewordministry.net that's speakthewordministry.net and now here's Pastor Joe continuing her message titled the power of God is in His Word. Speak the Word. We must weigh every word we speak. Every word is a seed and it's going to bring forth a harvest. And we mentioned this about how your words are seeds and how they are going to bring forth a harvest, you know, and I hear from people all the time. We get phone calls, the girls answering the phone. I get emails from people that, you know, all these situations in their lives, their circumstances, and they've gotten a harvest that they don't want, you know, but yet they don't understand that they're the ones that got the harvest. They spoke the words that brought the harvest to begin with. So you're the one that is the one that's in charge of your harvest. You know, as I said, I was raised on a farm and my dad planted a lot of seeds, you know, whether it was corn, cotton, potatoes, or whatever. And whatever he planted, that's what he got. He didn't plant corn and get cotton. You know, it doesn't work. And so a lot of people don't understand that if you are Speaking negative thoughts about your health or your finances. What you don't understand is that these words are bringing on what you're saying. As a matter of fact, it's been proven by science that actually our brain activates. You know, they say that most everyone has these illnesses, sicknesses in their bodies or diseases, and we activate them by the words that we speak. So that alone should be enough to make you want to weigh every word that you speak. You can't sit around and talk about things like cancer and arthritis, all this kind of stuff, and buy into what the world tells you because you got certain symptoms or because you've reached a certain age that you know you're going to get this. You know, I know they used to. They would turn 40 and everybody, you know, have a birthday party and they serve you all these black balloons. Your lives not even half over with, you know, not if you're serving the Lord. It's not even. It's not even half over with, praise God. But I do know that you're the ones that bring the harvest. So if you have a good harvest in your life, if you have a good job, good family, and you're not suffering in your body and your finances are good, then you've been bringing, you've been speaking good stuff. You've been speaking what God says, and you're bringing forth a good harvest. And if you have these other things in your life, then you're bringing forth those harvests. According to First Corinthians, chapter 7, verse 24, it says that God paid a high price for you. So don't be enslaved by the world. Don't let Satan deceive you into saying things that you don't want. A seed is going to produce after its kind. That's what the Bible says, that the seed produces after its kind. So what that means if you sow hate and if you sow things negative about your finances and like, that's what you're going to harvest. But you don't have to have a lot of money in the bank. You don't have to be making a lot to speak what God says. Because it's by speaking what God says that will bring, bring you more. It'll bring in the extra that you need. But speaking the other way actually is going to cost you what you already have. I hope you're hearing me. The church should be walking in freedom today. They should be walking in their power and in their authority. But there aren't many of them that are doing that. But instead God's Children are walking around no better off than a non believer. And you say, well, Pastor Joe, that's really harsh. Well, it's the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts. But I do know that the Bible says that the truth of God will set you free. So when we actually know the truth of God's word and the power that's in that word, we will be set free in any area, regardless of what it is. What I mean by this, I mean that God's children, like I said, are just as sick and just as broken or broke as the non believer. There's only one way to break free of this captivity that the enemy has put you in, and that is you must learn. And you need to learn quickly how to control your mouth. But in order to do this, you first have to learn how to control your thoughts. And the only way that you can do this, according to Second Corinthians, chapter 10, verses three through five in the easy read, it says, we live in this world, but we don't fight our battles in the same way the world does. Verse 4 says, the weapons we use are not human ones. Our weapons have power. Our weapons have power from God and can destroy the enemy's strong places. We destroy people's arguments. Some translation says, bring every thought into captivity. And so this is what we're saying is bring every thought into captivity. And verse five says, and we tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We also capture every thought. This is what I said. Some translation will say, bring into captivity every thought. Here it says, we also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ. Hallelujah, friends, God's word is your weapon. It's also your answer. It's your answer to how to get that mountain out of your way where that mountain is a mountain of sickness or poverty or whatever you're experiencing. God's word has the power. It's your weapon, to resolve it. Let me put it this way. The only way that you can control your mouth to bring forth wealth, health and a prosperous life is number one, is to renew your mind with the word of God. And number two, put the devil on notice. You really need to put the devil on notice today and begin taking back what he's stolen from you. And number three, or he will continue to eat your lunch and pop the bag. You must realize, friends, that Satan is the thief. He's the one according to John 10:10 that he comes to steal, kill and destroy. And he's the one that's killing you. And like I Said he's going to eat your lunch and pop the bag. I remember going to school, when I went to school, we had. We took our lunch in little brown paper bags and. But we'd always blow up the bag and we'd pop it when we got through eating our sandwiches, you know. And that's what Satan does. According to Proverbs, chapter 6, verse 31. In Amplified Classic it says, if a thief is called, he must restore seven times what he stole. He must give the whole substance of his house if necessary. Think about that. I want you to think about this. Everything, not some things, but everything that is going on in your life and your family and your circumstances is in complete relations to your mouth. You're probably not aware of this, but there are spirits, brothers and sisters. There are spirits that follow words and write on your words. I've ministered on this before. So when things are not working, you know, when things aren't working in your life, the first thing you need to do, brothers and sisters, is ask yourself, just ask yourself, what have I been saying? What have I been confessing to? What have I been declaring? Because you have been speaking words out of your mouth. You have been letting those seeds, seeds of untrust and the seed of poverty and all this. You've sown those seeds and you've let them out of your mouth. And that's what we call confessing. Because you're going to get what you have been saying. There's no doubt about that. In Mark 11:23 says, Jesus tells us that you shall say to this mountain be thou removed and cast into the sea. Does not doubt in his heart, but believes, but believes what he says. He will get what he says if he believes it in his heart and doubts not. He's saying that you will get, if you believe it, what you're saying, you're going to get it. So you are going to get what you say. I want you to know that Satan hears you. The devil hears what you've been saying. He hears your confessions. Everyone hears you talk about your like. The devil hears you talk about your like. For instance, when you confess the like of finances, it literally stops your finances. You're actually giving the enemy the right to stop your money. You know it's through our words. You know there's a key. You know God said in his word that he's given us the keys to the kingdom, but we have the key to the kingdom that will gain us access into kingdom things, that what belongs to us. But also you need to know that your Words gives access to the enemy to come in and destroy you. So you really need to be careful about what you're saying. And like I said before, weigh those words before you speak them. Until those words are spoken out of your mouth, they don't. You don't give birth to them, but once they come out of your mouth, you're giving birth to them. So don't you want you to forget that, Get a pencil and piece of paper and write down some of these things and write down these scriptures. Because I use a lot of scriptures, you know, in my teachings. Because like I said, it's God's word that's important, not mine, but God's Word. So I like to use, like to teach his Word because that's where the power is. If you're going to have power, got to know God's Word. As long as you continue to talk lack, you're going to have lack. As long as you continue to confess, I can't do that. Or you keep talking failure, you're going to experience failure and you're going to experience lack. The same thing holds true for your health. You cannot continue to speak death and expect to be healthy. You know the late Bible teacher Charles Capps. Some of you may be familiar with him, but Charles Capps found this article in the 1991 August edition of the Reader's Digestion. It was entitled Patient Knows Best. It said that a person's answer to the question, is your health excellent, good, fair or poor is a remarkable predictor, it says, of who will live and who will die over the next four years. According to these findings, a study of more than 2,800 men and women 65 and older found that those who rate their health poor, who talk about being sick, who rate their health and poor, you know, they can barely move. And please don't misunderstand. I'm not putting down anybody that's sick. I've been sick myself and could hardly move. But what I'm saying is about talking about talking about it, he says. And then those who rate their health that will die in the next four years, he says, those that rate their health poor, four to five times more likely to die in the next four years than those who rate their health excellent. Think about that. They said this was the case even if examinations show the respondents to be in comparable health. You know, and I think about that because I know people, even in my family, that they're going home to be with the Lord now, some just a couple of months ago, but every time I was on the phone with them, that's only talked about. And I know that they were in great pain, and I know that they were sick, but they were so focused on that. And I would talk to them and I pray with them, and they say, I know that. It's kind of like I used to tell my mom, mom, I know that. And it was kind of like some of you, you know, you know the word, but you're not speaking the word. And you say, I know that, but you're not practicing it. And so my sister would say, I know that, Joe. And she said, I know that and I'm going to do it. But no, she wouldn't. She wouldn't do it. Sometimes people do get set in their ways, you know, they get programmed to believe certain things and practice certain things, and they just don't do it. These findings were supported, it says, by review of five other large studies totaling 23,000 people, which reached similar conclusions, according to Ellen Adler, a sociologist at Rutlers University. It says that people that have an image of themselves being in poor health will talk about poor health. This also holds true in your finances. You know, people talk about, well, I can't afford this and I can't afford that. Well, there's things at one time, and there's still things I couldn't afford. Of course, those things, most of them I don't want anyway. But there was a time when I could have said that a lot, because I was a widow living on a fixed income up until 2009 when I met my husband, because, like I said, my husband had passed away and had been dead for seven years. And so people saw me as a widow living on a fixed income. But even in my ministry that I had at the time of the prison ministry, I never saw myself that way. You have to. I didn't have an image of myself being without. I've never had an image of myself being on a fixed income because I've always had the image of what the word says. God's word tells me that he is my provider, that he is my source. And so I have to confess that he has always and still is my source. And he always provides for me for whatever I need, whether it's finances to do what he's called me to do, or where it's people to surround with me to help me do what he's called me to do. So God is your provider too, brothers and sisters, and he'll provide for you. He's your source, you know, not your bank, not your job, not Your family. But God is our source, and we have to see him that way. And it says even though that they may see themselves in good health, they seem to live out of the reality of the image they have of themselves, even unto death. And that's really sad because there's so many people that God, you know, so many that God wants to help in their health and in their finances, but he cannot get them to come into agreement with him. You know, we have to come into agreement with God's Word. As a matter of fact, when you're praying, you know, there's such thing as the prayer of agreement, you know, so if you're praying a prayer and you want somebody to come into agreement with you, the Bible says we're to come together as agreeing upon anything he says. It will be done. And so I'm just saying that when you come into agreement with God and his Word, that's going to be done, too. Are you hearing me? This also confirms Proverbs 18:21. I used to have this on my license plate down in North Carolina. It said, death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. As a matter of fact, my license plate now says Matthew 8:8, which is where he gave me the name for my ministry, Speak the Word Ministry. So you hear, if you've been listening to Pastor Joe on the radio, we're kind of worldwide there, Speak the Word ministry. But what you believe and what you speak not only affects your body, but your immune system as well. Your words will become either a blessing or they can become a curse to you. The Lord tells us that he says before us both curses and blessings. He says you choose. So we don't. You know, God's not choosing for you. You are choosing for you. You choose the blessings or you choose to curse. It's up to you. Remember what I said earlier, friends, about spirits that follow your words? There are spirits, evil spirits that follow your words and ride on them. And how the devil hears everything that you say. Well, the same hold truth. I want you to understand that the same thing holds true for God's Word. There is a spirit. When you're speaking God's Word, there is a spirit riding, you know, that's following those words, but it is the Spirit of God that's following it. It's the Spirit of God and his angels, you know, hearkening to your word to bring about what you say. According to Psalms 103, 20, and according to Jeremiah 1, chapter 1, verse 12, it says that God himself is performing His Word. As a matter of fact, the translation says that God is active, active and alert to perform His Word. So God is performing His Word when you. So when you speak God's word, you're not performing that word when you're speaking prosperity or when you're speaking health. God is causing that. You know, he's creating that Word, but you're getting those words out of your mouth. You're planting those seeds and God's going to come back and create those. He's going to cause them to grow. So where you are healthy or you don't feel well, you got a little bit of finance, you got a lot of. You have to speak what God says about it. Whether you got anything or not. If you didn't have it, a dollar in your pocket, you still don't want to talk poverty. You still don't want to say, I can't afford it. Maybe you can't, but you don't have to say that. You can say, well, I'll get that, but I'll get that later, or use any words, but I can't, I can't. You know, you can say, I don't have that right now, but in the future I'll have that. Because your Heavenly Father wants you more than you know to live a healthy, prosperous life. In 3 John chapter 1, verse 2, in Amplified Bible he says, beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and that your body may keep well, even as I know your soul keeps well and prospers, praise God. However, that will never happen until you get control of your tongue. For you'll always be held captive by your tongue. You'll always be held in captivity. In Proverbs, chapter 13, verse 3 says, those who control their tongue will have a long life. Opening your mouth, on the other hand, can ruin everything. Selah, in other words. Think about that. Chew on those words a little bit. And it says in First Peter, as a matter of fact, I was writing this. The Lord brought back to my remembrance. First Peter, chapter 3, verse 10. In Amplified Bible it says, for let him talking about anybody, let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days, good, whether apparent or not, keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile, from treachery and deceit. So he's saying, if you won't enjoy life and see good days, whether it's apparent or not. In other words, where it looks like that or not, if you want to enjoy that, then you have to keep your tongue free from evil and evil is saying anything that goes against what God's word says. Anything that you say that does not line up with his word, that's considered evil. You're going to have to be like a David and you're going to have to bridle your tongue. David said you might want to write this down. In Psalms 141, verse 3, it says, Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth. Keep watch over the door of my lips. The Lord has been teaching me for years, brothers and sisters, to change my way of thinking. And he has been teaching me to see things his way, to think his way. And I want you to know that I have not arrived by no means, for he's still teaching me today. As a matter of fact, he's teaching all of us. It tells us in Philippians chapter one, verse six, he that began a good work in me, he that began a good work in you, will continue to do so until the day of Christ Jesus. I know that it's hard to change the way you think. I know that firsthand. Because your minds have been pre programmed since birth. They've been programmed since day one to think like the world thinks. And it's going to take some work, it's going to take some effort on your part, but I'm confident that you can do it with the help of the Holy Spirit. Brothers and sisters, I would like to share with you that in order to live that good life that you want to live, you're going to have to recognize the seed coming out of your mouth. You're sowing a harvest, you're making a harvest there. If that's not what you want, then don't sow it anymore. If you don't want beans, don't put beans in the ground. If you want tomatoes, plant tomatoes. Don't plant beans. In other words, if you want to have a good life and have the finances to have the good life, then begin to speak what God says. If you want to be healthy, remember all the Scriptures in 1st Peter 2:24 and Matthew 8:17 and Isaiah 53, 3 and 5. You know that Jesus bore our sickness, our pain, and he took our infirmities. And with his stripes we are healed. But you have a weapon, and it's the Word of God. I took out my weapon, the Word of God, and always began to speak it. When I'm facing a mountain, the way I fight that battle is not with human thoughts. How I fight that battle is with the Word of God. The Word of God is the same sword of the Spirit. It tells you that in Ephesians 6, the wheel, the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. Speak the Word to your body, speak the Word to your mind. Speak the Word to every circumstance that mountain can't stand. You've been listening to author, Bible teacher and evangelist Pastor Joanne Ramsey on today's edition of Speak the Word. This is where we will sit until Jesus makes our enemies our footstool. Hallelujah. I thank you, Lord, that though we walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive us.
